Abstract

Background
/Aims: Gastric polyps are recommended to be removed due to their premalignant potential. Endoscopic polypectomy has long been considered a safe and effective method for removal of gastric polyps. Methods: The authors diagnosed and treated 290 gastric polyps using endoscopy on 210 patients who had been admitted to Chungnam National University Hospital from January, 1990 to August, 1996.
